We find that our most successful posts are:

Visual – People are more likely to interact with a social media post if it includes an eye-catching photo. If your post includes one, we’ll consider sharing it on Facebook. If not, we’ll schedule it for Twitter.

Short – Twitter’s 280-character limit keeps our tweets short and to the point. For all other platforms, try to limit the message to one or two sentences. Share the most important information in your post’s text and provide a link to a website or blog for more details.

Conversational – How you would tell someone about the information you have to share in person should be how you would tell people about it on social media.
