If you've never been on the site of a demolition project you'll probably find this footage interesting to watch.  Demolition projects can be dangerous and it's easy to forget just how massive some of the beams and other materials are as they come tumbling down.  Check out the video below, it is a short compilation taken from hours of video shot during the later stages of the Ivor Wynne demolition job in Hamilton Ontario in 2013.

Some Ivor Wynne seats bought for charity returned

The Hamilton Tigercats reported in the Spectator that some of the seats that were purchased in an effort to raise money for a neighbourhood improvement fund have been returned for a refund.  You can read the whole story on the Hamilton Spectator site here Spectator article.  Overall the memorabilia sale raised more than $25,000.

Budget Environmental was awarded the job of taking down an iconic Hamilton landmark, Ivor Wynne Stadium.  Ivor Wynne was built in 1930 for the British Empire Games and has had an exceptionally long history of more than 80 years which is longer than most.
